Hobby DJ and music producer. It provides an awesome feel good factor.
Play mostly dance music such as, House and Trance. I regularly flip between the two genres and do sets featuring both genres - House, Progressive House and Trance. I'll also throw in a few good pop remixes if the mood suits.

I was an early adopter of EDM (1980) and have seen the progress over decades. I think the first Electronic Digital Music I heard was by Kraftwerk way back in the late 70's. This progressed through to various forms of MOBO because of the very obvious bass lines and kicks that could actually be heard properly within the mix. I loved to dance (Robotics, Body Poppin' and Breakdancing), so by 1983, I found myself hooked on Electro which later gave me an appreciation for certain Hip-Hop styles. I used to collect album series such as Street Sounds Electro and the same label's "Up Front" releases. Also I purchased the House Sound Of Chicago LP's. It was a transitional period, when Disco was changing. Some were claiming disco had died and been replaced with House or club music but for me, I'd suggest people dig deeper and listen more carefully. Disco, like most genres, evolved into new forms. Back in those days, few people thought it would last. Admittedly, there were a few break though tracks but for the most part, House - and later, Rave, remained underground. The popularity of each genre ensured the status quo did not remain. I don't know if other DJ's of my generation will agree - actually I don't care either way - but for me, I could hear House and Rave coming together. I believe this brought about the early days of Trance and Drum & Bass/Jungle. Sometimes you couldn't pigeon-hole these tunes. Was it House? It's not Rave though, is it? It was definitely progressive. And here we are. The genre's that wouldn't last. Couldn't last! The fads of underground music - here today, gone tomorrow just like it's big sister, Pop. But hang on a minute....? What's that I hear on the radio? Pop is now synonymous with all forms of the old dance tunes. It's in the DNA. Anyway, that's me. That's where I'm coming from. Hope you enjoy my sets. I'm no professional but I can assure you... I LOVE the TUNES!!!
