Grew up on a mix of music from my parents Soul, Rock, Rock n roll and pop. It was always that rebellious sound that caught my ear. All the early electronic stuff that came out in the charts like Kraftwerk, Gary Newman etc. I caught on to ska, Madness and The Jam, on top of the pops and became a mod. Then i crossed over to bmx and skateboarding,; listening to thrash metal, and punk, discovered Hip-Hop and electro after that. Used to buy import vinyl and play them at the Youth club, and do break dancing; which really started my love of the DJing with scratching and 2 turntables. I then got introduced to the Cramps and the Meteors and PsychoBilly music and full circled into Scooters by the early 80s, bringing all those music tastes together, which was a great part of my life with music, still on the rebellious side! By early 90s early rave tunes were pricking up my ears. No sooner later i went to my first Rave. The floodgates opened to everything from there. Bought some soundlab belt drive turntables. had them stolen and never replaced. Then Digital age came along, I bought my first controller, an Ion Icue. That got me hooked. I then went out full hog and bought a numark NS7ii from eBay for £400 and still am using it now! I nearly threw the towl in because it just wouldn't work with serato. As soon as I started with VDJ it changed my musical life forever and my love for DJing and mixing tunes, finding new sounds. So expect crossboard mixes from all tastes of life.
