Wats up eveyone in dj land i have a question maybe someone can answer. Can i use my Hercules RMX in conjunction with a Stanton DaScratch. I really want to get a dascratch because i think its a real great idea and i think it will look nice beside my rmx but i want to know if they can compliment each other or if they work together and also if someone has made the midi presets for the dascratch because i see in the forums that people are having trouble setting it up with virtual dj.

No, It's realy easy,
You choose in Darouter GEN Single SCS.3d V1.00
In vitual DJ, you create your own configuration in MIDI config like a keyboard controller.
BE CAREFULL : Some faders are absolute or relative, you can see the preset mapping of the dascratch on Stanton.com
And You MUST select the same attributes in VDJ, like that you can by example, use your jogwheel as a crossfader...

yea thay i are baught one and gave it back the next day i couldent get a refund so i got store credit so instead i got some nice pioneer dj headphones and a microphone lol

I am using mine with ICDX and or my VCI100, i have it set to only control video functions such as cross fades and clip bank... otherwise i would probably send it back as well... I told Stanton they need to get off the Serato / Traktor DJ band wagon and should have had this mapped when it was released... The person who wrote back agreed and said presets were being worked on...

Lol,
I have hard finished to map my stanton with my control steel : All my stanton is mapped ! all button, sliders, are in use. Now i can hardly use VDJ without mouse and keyboard :>
Yet I finish, I will post my preset.
And don't forget that in the future, we will also can change the generic presets of the dascratch :)

search the forum for DaScratch mappings. Sigifigant progress has been made in the functionality of these things. They are now a vital part of my DJ setup.

I recently upgraded to VDJ 6 and installed latest drivers for Hercules DJ Console RMX and the mixer still won't work.
It worked on previous 5.0 version
any suggestions? I'm running Vista

did u uninstalled the drivers, restarted pc, and then installed drivers again? i have vista & w7
