Anybody else have problems with the way the fader moves in VirtualDJ when using a Numark Total Control.
It acts kinda jerky. The right volume fader is ok, it's just the left one. The work around is to leave both of the faders up and use the crossfader, which is working great.
I just installed the new firmware. I don't think it was that because it was doing it before that. Anybody else notice this?

Just wanted to add to this thread that the jerky, seemingly "possesed" fader is the left screen/software fader...
Not the physical one on the actual NTC...
Physical/hardware faders are very smooth.
I don't think the problem is mechanical or the VDJ software. I think it's in the "soft" portion of the NTC...
Here's a link to the Numark forums' thread wher this also posted:

I fixed the problem. It was mechanical. My co-worker noticed that the issue went away when he held the Total Control upside down. Don't ask me to tell you what made him turn it upside down.
I opened it up and reseated the connectors associated with the PCB that had the Channel faders soldered on. I buttoned it back up and it worked like a champ.
