Topic: HELP!!! Connecting VDJ to Rane Serato TTM 57SL Mixer

Hey all,

I previously was using Rane Serato's Scratch Live and it kept on crash my laptop, now im trying to use VDJ, I've watched the link on youtube on how to connect my system with an SL1 sound card but I believe the TTM57SL has a built in sound card. When I plug it in it doesn't detect the sound card and stays as an ASIO Sound Card. Can someone help me connect my system?

So download the program and it should work?
 
So i installed the driver, it detects the TTM57SL but it still won't play, what am i doing wrong is it the setting or what? Basically I need setting up VDJ for dummies explaination thanks
 
run Serato then close it

then open vdj
 
I've tried that and it still doesn't do anything, with a setting I chose before it tries playing and you can see the beat trying to move but at an extrememly slow spped that it won't reach one sec in the song? weird
 
Same here. What are we doing wrong. Has anyone else had success with the ttm57sl and VDJ?
 

Has it just been produce for the sole use of Serato, I wonder.

No, you can use the ttm-57sl soundcard ok with VDJ. What version of Serato did you install, because I think you need to download and use/install 1.7.4 or above to get the asio drivers. Then you can set it up in the VDJ control panel.

I have SSL 1.8 with the ttm57 and still cannot get VDJ to work with it.
 
it works perfectly fine for me. i also have 2 cdj800 mk2 running timecode.

You can't use the joysticks/functions of the 57 with VDJ can you?
 
im having a problem...i can only get one side working for me...i use 1200s...but for some parties (communions kid parties etc) i dont bring my 1200s in..i just take my 57 in and run serato..but virtual dj has a great automix function for parties like this....for some reason i can only get the channel 2 working does anyone know how to get both
