recently bought maya44usb. it runs perfect but has this static like popping sound while using VDj v4.2 . When i use the maya44 in other programs like sonique or WMP it sounds perfect. what could be causing this static sound when im using VDJ??

* 4GB RAM, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm
* Intel Core 2 Duo T8100, 2.1GHz, 800Mhz, 3M L2 Cache
* ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3450
* 320G, 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive (Western Digital, WDC WD3200BEVT-75ZCT1)
* Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 Home Premium Edition (32-bit)

Firstly I would suggest downloading and trying the latest demo.
If you using the Maya44 in Asio mode, try backing off on your Asio buffer, set it to fast or normal and see what you get.

i had the same exact problem my solution was turning down the gain because it picks up small vibrations from the sound card if the gain is too high just mess around with is for a while. mine got so bad that it was skipping tracks forward and backward.

Bro you probably also need to add a ground adapter to your laptop. That is normally an orange adapter that only has two electrical prongs instead of 3 like your laptop. This will ground your sound and help stop static also.

I would like to inquire if anybody has had success with virtual dj and stanton c314 turntables. my issue is the cue's that I set in virtual are not being accessed with the turntables. please inform. I love both products and dying for these two to work together. Thanks in Advance
