Im looking at alot of the DJ''s on this site and i dont hear anyone really talkin about doin inner city shows or basement parties or anything like that. Im from NYC (Brooklyn /Staten Island stand up!) and altough i appreciate other forms of music , im thorughly engulfed in my heirtage(West Indian) and know that nothing gets a party started like reggae/dancehall music. Id like to hear more peoples opinions on what "riddims" -(for those who dont know riddims are beats that a bunch of reggae artist lay vocals/songs over...i.e. Sean Paul Get busy is on the DIWALI riddim) some of the other dj's use at their parties. Hit me back
