OK here's the story.
I placed an order December last year (2006) for 2 turntables, a mixer and 2 cartridges from www.topdjgear.com (please don't ever ever buy from these people)
Everytime I called about the order I keep getting the same line .. it's being shipped out. After about a month or more the goods finally shipped out but without the cartridges. So I've paid for useless equipment (what's a turntable without a needle)
When I called them back they said somone overlooked that item and I have to reorder it. I did that (this was about February).
To this day everytime I called I keep getting the same response .... it's being shipped out today
They just told me that again. Plus they keep promising to send my tracking number which they never did.
I called for the manager but the manager's busy and when I ask for the name of the manager here's the response .. " amm .. I don't know his name"
I want to report this company, but I'm not sure who I have to report them to or how.
My expectation was to have my TT with the pro version of VDJ by now (I have the TCVs as well), but at this point I really just feel like selling what I have. This is supposed to be a hobby (if it was a profession I'll be in real trouble). Obviously VDJ is losing money too cause I should have bought VDJ since January
If it was one order it might be OK (they screwed me on the 1st order). But these are 2 separate orders that I'm getting the run around on.
So my question: How do I go about reporting them?

Well, we all know it now. I don't know where they are located, but here in the US, you would go to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). If you paid with a credit card, you can let them know, and cancel your order. Insist that they get a refund, as you no longer want to deal with these people. You can also post in some pro forums, to let others know.

I purchased Fast Track Pro from them and after a month or two of making the order I never received the product. They took my money and never shipped, they kept telling me the same thing...we will ship it out this week it should be there in three to four days...never came....So I found out who the owner/president of the company was and called him and my money was returned but I never found out on how to report this company or make it clear to people to not order from them....

I guess I should have done that Before I purchased. But it's a lesson I've learnt now.
I'm going to file a complaint against them.
By the way I got my tracking number a while ago so I'm hoping the items are being shipped, but I'll still report this matter. This company should not be doing business.
If I make a report etc. with BBB does the BBB take any action or are they just a consumer watch group?

I also recommend going here > http://www.dos.state.ny.us to file a complaint as well, this will "hopefully" especially if enough people complain will put the company in what's called "not in good standing" this does quite a few things but I'll spare you the boredom :). Also, although each state is diffrent in regards to laws, a lot of things are regulated by the credit card companies as well.... ex: you place an order with visa and you don't receive your merchandise within a reasonable amount of time that company that "accepted" your visa for payment is now also in violation of visa's merchant account agreement which may state all orders have to be completely settled within x,y,z amount of time after processing your card or this, that and or the other MUST happen i.e refund etc. I hope this helps a little and if you need more info or help just "pm" me. I hate when company's "play" with our money and emotions and as a business owner myself this type of activity only hurts everyone doing business via the internet!

Thanks for all your inputs guys. I'm going to report them. My Internet was down for the past few days (another story for another time).
But You're right: companies shouldn't 'play' with our money.
Hopefully at least this post would warn others against that particular company and not do business with them
