I was just wondering what would be the benefits of buying the Ecler Nuo5 instead of the Ecler Nuo4? I know what a midi clock does, but could someone spell out how it would help me with DJing? Would the Nuo5 be worth the extra 300 dollars?

can some1 answer this question please. i need to know the difference too.

a midi clock sends a time signal to other devices so they can sync
it seems to host alot more fx aslo

If you are looking for MIDI capabilities to control VDJ then you want the NUO4 --

"The NUO4 features 89 different MIDI messages through channels 2 and 3, and the combination of 4 rotary and push encoders, 4 switches, a 3 position layout and an A/B bank selector."

The NUO5 only does the following MIDI actions (from their brochure )

"The NUO5 includes a MIDI output and features start and stop commands to activate and deactivate your devices and a clock to adjust the tempo"

cool i just order the Nuo 4 hope its all that its cracked up to be. can you imagine the nuo4 w/vdj on channel 2&3 and the ttm57w/serato out on channel one and two, i see serious crazziness in the future.
