VirtualDJ - Where to get those VDJ XP10s???

Hello everybody,

i'm looking for this XP10s you can see here:

But i can just find some with over buttons for the use of the bison software.

Where can i get them???

But you can only buy the ones with the bison-software buttons there.

But i want the virtual dj buttons!!!!

The VDJ XP10's are discontinued...

But maybe you can find some used, at Ebay or at this forum...

Or just print out a VDJ sticker, and put it on the Eks official XP10 ;)

What is around the corner regarding something Like the XP 10's?

with...

Built in HIGH quality soundcard, USB, controlling software & MIDI, plugs into existing mixer (not a mixer), no timecode needed, no other players needed (Pioneer).

you are usualy up on this sort of stuff.

I think the XP10s are a very good solution for the remote control of VDJ!!!!

What else would you prefer???

I think TCV and CDs are also a good solution, but with the XP10s I can add loops and effects very fast, too.

But the buttonstyle of this new XP10s isnt very good, in my eyes.

Other question:

Is it possible to use TCV and The DJ Control MP3 at the same time???

For mixing with TCV and adding effects and loops with the Dj control MP3....

You can use Hercules and TC at the same time yes;)

And there are plenty of new controllers comming these days...

Look at the new vestax controller ;) has touch sensitive jogwheels and built in soundcard, just as XP 10 :)

Well,

i consider using a Dj Control Mp3 and TCV now.

But I still have a few Questions when using TCV an Dj Control at the same time:

I play a song with the TCVs - is it possible for me to change the ptichrange on the Dj Control and the song runs with an other speed on the TCV???

And, while using TCVs can i cue a current played song with the Dj Control???

Effects and loops shouldnt be a problem i think.....

Finally:

Can i use all features of the Dj Cotrol while using TCVs???

Nor,

a couple of things,

I do not think that thin silver Vestax controller you mentioned has a built in soundcard because it is not mentioned anywhere at all.

Also it does not have any RCA outputs to go to the club's the mixer like the XP 10's, so I am not sure this piece qualifies.

Am I missing anything?

- My bad, so many controllers coming out, hard to keep track of the all ;)
The vestax mixer have touchsenstitive jogwheels (can even be adjusted the sensitivity), but it does NOT have a soundcard, like the XP10. true.. :)

Btw, the XP10s are still sold, from www.eks.fi ;) Just not pre-bought by VDJ, and labeled for resell, anymore...

- VDJ has 3 MODES for timecode use. In ABSOLUTE MODE, ONLY the turntable can control the song (play, stop, move, pitch etc), just like using a real vinyl.
But in SMART MODE, you can override the timecode vinyl at any given time, by controller, keyboard or in skin. This includes looping, skip in song etc etc. And also pitch yes (you can even press sync, to sync songs). In Smart mode, software "aids" work, in absolute mode, it doesnt ;)

so, in smart mode, you can use ALL features on the DJ Control, while using timecode vinyls at the same time ;)

I mean playing one song with TCV and an other one just by klicking the play button on the Dj Control MP3, but the TCV are not running.

Is this possible???

yupp ;) in smart mode, ALL software features works, just as there had not been any timecode
Anything you do, will override the timecode...
Even hitting play, when timecode is not running .. :)
