denon dn-s3500 connected to Hercules DJ Console MK2 USB to laptop or desktop:

single timecoded cd (tccd)

[Performances] Most annoying settings tab ever

presets: fastest

sound card: auto
DO NOT USE "safe mode" <- causes problem with mk2 asio mode
Do NOT USE "over clock" <- causes problem with mk2 asio mode

Scratch:
optimize for "quality" and "simple algorithm"

48kHz <-> 44kHz: basic interpolation
master tempo: fast

don't understand why, but it works.

hehe, yeah.. a bit true

It was made so that users could fine tune the performance best possible to his own PC powers.
But has also been reason for lots of frustrations.

Specially Safemode and Overclock, that in my mind, should be disabled by default.

Hope to see that in next version, along with auto for latency.

 
i second that.
 
Actually Norway, On one setup I have to use Safe Mode when not using the MK2, but when I use the MK2 I cant use safe mode, maybe having it off by default is the way to go, but still allow users to turn it on.
