I just installed my hercules dj console but I only hear sound when i plug in my headphones into the console. How do i get the sound to play over my laptop speakers?

I'm not totally sure, but to do what you want, you would have to upgrade to the professional version of the software. This is because you want to use the laptop's sound card for outputting the sound, but the hurcules for your headphones. To use both sound cards at the same time, you need to have the professional edition.
I think the easiest thing for you would be to simply plug the output of the hurcules console into some other speakers. If you have a hi-fi at home that would be ideal.

Mate all you need is a audio spliter heads phones and speakers will fit in and will cost around a quid (british money) that simple!

a pair of computer speakers will work with the console
as long as they have dual phono cables
you could buy a pair of speakers with detatchable cables
remove the mini jack cable replace it with dual phono cables
and plug that into outputs 1/2 it will now play sound live :)

Speakers on some laptops can sound a bit tinny anyway - plug extension speakers into the headphone socket or connect it to a hi-fi for optimum sound quality.
