How many mac users on the forum ?
How long have you been using a mac ?
And how many are beta testing vdj4 or is it top secret !!!!!!!!!!

I am one of them that have mac. (2 at home)
I am using mac 5 years now.
Beta version is not yet in testing.

Question for you mac guys. Is it true that IRQ sharing on macs is unheard of? I've been trying to find a number or email for a tech on their site but can only find ones that require a product registration. I'm thinking of saving up to get a mac book pro for when the mac version is ready, and I read on a google search (don't reemember the message board) that mac users will never have to worry about such things. Is this true?

I just ordered a CORE 2 DUO MAC BOOK PRO (2.33GHz, 2GB, 256MB ATI X1600, 160GB HD)

I have been a mac user since 1985 (MAC PLUS w/ dual floppy drives BABY!!!)

Hopefully, I can be of some assistance to the beta testing team in the next few months...

I'm not sure if I'm going to try bootcamp or parallels right away. Perhaps I'll just wait for OS X LEOPARD to be released and see if they have included virtualization by then.

My Dell 9100 will now be my light jockey / backup laptop for all future gigs.

I liberated myself from Windows a few weeks back and haven't looked back. Now I run both OS X and Kubuntu Linux. I would love to see a version of VDJ that runs on Linux and interfaces with the JACK low latency Audio connection kit.

I'm posting this from my brand new (havent' been even running for an hour) G5 powermac that I bought coming off a demo.

I had to resurrect a Windows system :( just to run VDJ. Ich.

been using my macbook pro since 3.4 with bootcamp had some probs at first when 4.0 came out but 4.1r2 made eveerything better. unterested in mac osx version is as good as windows version

Been a MAC user for about two years, I started using VDJ on Ver 3 on a Windows based laptop I had. I picked up the Intel MAC a few months ago, it has been pretty smooth running VDJ on Boot Camp, not any problems to report as of yet. Worked fine with the MP3 Controller, VDJ is due for the MAC version (which I'm excited about) though. So I will pick up a copy when it comes out, as I have TCV, and the MK2 coming on the mail, I kind of want software I'm not, "pressuring" to work with my system, if that makes any sense.

You're not alone. 400,000 windows to Mac switchers in 2005 and over 800,000 in 2006 already. Going for a million by the end of the holiday season! =D

Me? 16 years on both Mac and windows. Former internal and external windows network administrator for Xerox (you know, the people who actually invented the mouse and the GUI).

It's because I know windows as well as I know Mac that I don't use it.

If you know fire's hot, you don't stick your hand in it.

If you know windows is untrustworthy, you don't trust it.

I ALWAYS tell people that the BIGGEST Mac advocates are the most RECENT windows SWITCHERS!!! Because it's still fresh in their minds about how HORRID, yet LAUGHABLE, windows is.
