I have switched to a P4 HT CPU 2.8 GHz from a P4 2.6GHz and have not had a freeze during analyzing yet. I have noticed that during a mass analyze, only about 53% CPU utilization is being used. It appears VDJ is only using one of the Virtual Processors which leaves plenty of headroom for system tasks. Maybe thats why its not freezing.

good news, but i think v4 should use p4 HT at all. but don't really know.. this was talking about before v4 was released.
