Topic: V4 Asio problem on Motu 828 Mk2 Soundcard... help..

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I cant get the Asio driver to work as it should in vdj4 however in 3.4 it worked fine.
My Motu 828 Mk2 wont play anything on Chann 1&2 in VDJ4....

I route the Vdj Audio setup like this

Inputs : none
Outputs : External Mixer
Soundcards : Asio Driver
Driver : Motu Audio Asio

Left Deck - > Chann 1&2 Right Deck -> Chann 3&4

And i only get output on Chann 3&4 - 1&2 is dead

This worked fine on Ver. 3.4 but on the new i cant get it to work?

Will this be fixed?

Oh and by the way, im a newly registred customer of this wonderfull program, just bought it now because i love it so much, and now i should be able to hook up my BCD2000 and use that for the first time since i got it 6 months ago :)

I am exspecting everything from VDJ4 :)

I just need that asio driver problem fixed, or i cant use both decks :(

Kind regards
Cosmodk

Hi,

I encounterd a similar problem with asio routing on my Audigy 2, which I have written in First Impression thread. This is a quote from my post regarding this issue, as I found a work-around to my problem:

Quote :
Sound setup issue encounter with Audigy 2:

Since I'm only using an external mixer at home, I've tried the "External mixer" setting with the Primary Sound Card (4.1) driver, which worked fine, but the latency was unacceptable, so I tried the ASIO mode (with my Audigy 2) which created a problem: Left deck plays both on channels 1&2 and 3&4, while right deck plays ok only on one channel. Naturally the problem remains with the reverse L/R deck option, just for the other deck. So I tried different settings in my drivers (from 7.1, 5.1, 4.1) with the same result in VDj 4.

But luckily I found a work-around: with only a 2-lines mixer I gave up using samples, and selected the "3-lines mixer" mode, and selected the "1&2 Samples / 3&4 Left deck / 5&6 Right deck" option which works as it should, but I don't understand why the output order has been switched since 1&2 + 3&4 should work as a front/rear channels? Samples of course play on both 3&4 and 5&6 channels (which they shouldn't) if I use them.

This is probably my hardware (drivers?) issue, but would love to get some pointers what the problem could be.

Hope it helps you solving the issue temporarily, but I'm hoping we get some feedback from staff on this.

Regards.

No sorry same problem still, however thanks for the input :)
