Have you tried config remote control?

Config-Remote Control

Has the following options:

Numark
Midi
DMC1/DAC2/DAC3
DMX
HERCULES
XP10
D Vinyl
Webcam

but no BCD2000 or B control

I see the exact same. Where is the BCD2000 option??
Thanks

hmmm...thought I saw it in there, will do some checking.

I thought it would be in that "Remote Control" tab as well, but there is a config file in the Virtual DJ folder named “midi_bcd2000.xml” in the “Keyboard Shortcuts” tab click “Load…”.

It should be in the "Remote Control" tab with more settings to tweak, like how the lights under the buttons, light up, etc.

where to download virtual dj 4.0....because when i click on download i get version 3.4.....not have v4.0 on www.download.com

For now, it's only available for "Professional Edition Users". I imagine that in a few days a demo version will be released. I hope the crash bug and the missing slideshow features are added first before the whole world gets to try it and then think negatively about it.

Ok, here goes.
In config, click remote control, then midi, then load, then bcd 2000xml

I've had no contact with this unit, so its going to be a little touchy feely around here until everybody gets hardware set up.

I was under the impression tha it would be under the Config-Remote Control section. Didn't get a chance to set it up yet but will we still need a midi translator?

Thanks

Noooo!! Please Not once again :-(

The BCD2000 is a midi device, and as such, is under the midi section of the remote control pannel.
Just click on midi and choose BCD2000, and it will work directly.
(you can still easily change some of the buttons if you want to).

When we said "native support" that meant that changes have been made to the midi engine of vdj to be able to work with berhinger's weird way of using the scratch wheel, so that you don't need any midi conversion anymore.

I have a big big problem with my bcd, it works such a midi control with VDj 4.0 but it does not work when I am using its ASIO drivers and I need them because I was using (with 3.4) as a midi control for VDJ 3.4 and as ASIO sound card for my TCV but now with V4.0 the ASIO drivers do not work and I can not play my TCV please I need a solution as soos as possible

So I got home and setup VDJ 4.0. plugged in my BCD2000. Made sure all the drivers were up to date. Enabled the midi and chose the bcd2000 file. Tested it. I cannot set it up as an ASIO sound card as i was getting an error so i set it up as a single sound card. The jog wheels work niceley. I cannot use the mic. When i press the on-air button no lights come on. In saying that none of the lights except for the power button come on. Is there something i am doing wrong? I checked it with the BCD DJ software and all the functions work so that ruled out the hardware. Any help would be greatful.
Thanks

That could be percieved as misleading. You have no native BCD support. What you seem to have done is to enhance the MIDI capabilities to the point where it would be able to use the BCD. Native support IMO would mean you read the controller directly, not through the MIDI interface. That would also allow for any number of interesting options. Just go and see how djDecks does this and you 'll see what I mean..

Completley agree with paulheu. One of the reasons i purchased VDJ was (i was fully sure at the time) that there would be full support for thr BCD2000. May have to purchace other software now to make my BCD to work or maybe buy a new console like the hercules. I'm not a happy bunny....

I am not happy also because I purchased VDj 3.4 for the same thing and now my bcd does not work in ASIO driver mode so please I bought also a pair of tcv just because that and now I am not happy with V 4.0
