Do you mean as backup system?
I would go for cheap dj cd-players that alows you to nudge.

well this isn't bad for a starter DJ. hell even a wedding DJ can use this. 100$ you get a mixer and 2 single cd decks. that's all I had when I started and I paid a lot more then 100$ for it all.

I'd prefer two car CD players under the mixer. :-) they have also integrated amplifiers
