I use music match to rip tracks and some of these track have long comments like the one below and if you try and play one of these tracks program crashes.

It's the only reason you notice to have this crashes? I just copy and paste your comment and didn't have a crash, it plays good... maybe is something in the rip with musicmatch or memory problems.

As soon as I deleted the comment in VDJ the track played fine.

Try to type one more character in the comments and save it. Maybe it will work too.
