after replacing my old SB AWE32 with a SB Live card atomixmp3 is startet laggin after 6-7 minuts og mixing.
My setup:
PIII650
Asus P3V4X (with via-chipset)
320 MB ram
SB Live
SB PCI 128
Other stuff.
OS: Windows 2000
I have tried to:
Install the via-drivers again
Install direct-X again
Put the SB live in another PCI-slot
Closing all other programs.
Anyone who can help me ??

Hi DJ Donald,
I also had problems after replacing my good old ISA card.
When I installed the software delivered with the card (SB Live Player 5.1), the CPU froze. After 4 hours of trying to save my system, I formatted all.
In the new installation, I recognized that one programm replaced the SB driver with an older version. This fault crashed my system.
So try to deinstall all SB software and install only the drivers. If you have the same problem, it may function!

It helped.... after reinstalling my system ... it lagged again ... then i uninstalled Liveware 3.0 and installed the drivers only and the lag was gone.
