what is the counter for? time-thingy? just for finding out how fast you can dirk a beer or what? what's the use? jsut wondering...

When the charts option is on, Atomix sends the name of each file you play to the Internet server, and then a chart is displayed of the songs that are played most often.
The counter is used for example to calculate the time between the beginning of a song and the moment when the melody begins, so you know when to launch the song.

No atomixmp3 is not a spyware.
