Topic: Sampler Volume
Hello all,
I have Pioneer DDJ-SX2 and it has a dedicated sampler Volume channel fader. I purchased a new lap top with Nvidia sound card for the stems. After I installed VDJ, the volume of the sampler is not connected to the sampler volume fader but to the main channel volume fader. The other issue is that when I trigger the sampler volume on channel1 and then slide the crossfader to channel 2, I lose the sound of the sampler. I want all 16 samplers to work whether the crossfader is on channel 1 or 2. Thank you all for you help.

I also have another issue with the sampler. When the sampler on Deck 1 is playing and I am playing a song on deck 1, the sampler beat matches the tempo of the song and when I move the tempo up or down it syncs with it. But when I paly a song on deck 2, the sampler on Deck 1 matches the beat at the beginning but when I move the tempo of deck 2 up or down the sampler of deck 1 does not sync with it. all my samplers are set to Lock-Sync. Thanks
 
locked samples on master will follow the grid & tempo of masterdeck
 
I have the sampler default loop on locked but the beat of the sampler is not matching the song beat. I'm talking about sampler on deck 1, not matching the song beat on deck 2. It is working on my old computer. The setting on both laptops is the same and that's wht driving me crazy.
 
The sampler pads (on my Virtual DJ software and the sampler tab in the Tabs Visibility section) are referencing the same sampler bank but are not connected together. Even though they show the same sampler name on the pads and on the Tabs Visibility section, they play independently when I trigger the sampler from the pad versus the Tab visibility. How can I connect them together and have them sync? Thanks
 
Maybe you enabled samplerIndependentDeckBanks in options?
 
Thanks. This solved the problem and now both are connected. I still have one more issue wich is when the pad on deck 1 is activated and deck one is playing, I can hear the pad. Once I move the crossfader to deck 2, the pad is still playing but I can't hear the sound. So basically only the pads on deck 1 (basically all 8 pads ) is connected to deck 1, and I want all 8 pads to play whether the crossfader on deck 1 or 2 . This just happened only when I did the 2025 update.

It's explained in the manual and in various posts on the forum - in StemSwap mode, the sampler banks play through the decks (including FX, volume, crossfade etc). Banks that are not set to StemSwap play separately from the decks i.e. the old way.
 
How to remove the stem mode from the sampler button and go to the standard sampler mode ? Thanks
