Topic: Move Medialibrary to another computer while having files on a different drive letter
I just made a copy of all my audiofiles (Musicfolder) from my laptop C drive on a SD card. I copied my whole virtual DJ folder from the "application data" folder of my laptop and moved to exact the same location on a desktop computer which I have Virtual DJ installed on. My goal with this is, to rework my complete library and delete some stuff , as there are lots of double songs.. I prefer doing this on a desktop PC.

Is there a simple way to re-connect the Musicfolder with all files in there to the Medialibrary file? The C drive on my desktop is actually not having enough space and it will also be easier to not copy everything to C and copy back to SD whenever I'm ready.

I know there's a move function in Virtual DJ itself (Move to) but then all files on my laptop will be gone, and can't use my laptop in the meanwhile.

Thanks in advance. :-)

I think it is already solved (???). While I plugged in my SD card (station F) and typing this message, Virtual DJ located the folder itself I think.
First time I clicked a song (as expected) it showed un-available, while now about every song seems to be found on the SD card. :-)

Use something like Synchredible to sync between machines. Far easier.

Thanks for the suggestion. I definitely need to look into this. But it's also a safe idea not to permanently ruin my existing library.
I'm now about to delete 5000 duplicates.. and inexperienced with sirten functions in Virtual DJ.. very anxious about things going wrong..
