As of the last 2 stable versions (v2023-m b7746 and v2023-m b7759), on my M1 MacBook Pro, I am no longer able to set the In and out Loop points arbitrarily (quantizeLoop off). It seems like there is some quantization happening (you can see the highlighted area jump forward at least one or more beats).

I searched further and found the smartLoop option was enabled - switching this off gave the desired behaviour - this issue can be closed.
