no good help in facebook groups, so i will ask here.
can anyone explain the benefits and performance advantages or adjusting the "max stem length" and "max preload length" under the performance settings.
i'm using Stems 2.0 , and default is 60.
with all MP3 file sizes under 10 minutes of length size 106,000kBs with the prepared stem file also factored in, setting -1 to 60
Will i gain any performance adjusting the number lower than 60?

This Values are "minutes" for preload in the RAM
max preload length
When you load a track longer than 60 minutes, the Music would load as Stream in the the Deck. When the track is smaller than 60 minutes, than the track complete load in the deck (RAM).

The same for Stems when you use realtime Stems

By default the value is based on the amount of memory you have so should be fine.
If you want vdj to use less memory you could lower it, but there might be a slight delay when jumping through a track that's longer than the value you entered

thanks, i have plenty of ram space at 32gb, and moniter of ram usage never goes above 45%.
so i just leave at the pre determinded setting of 60.
