Love Broadcasting/Streaming Using Virtual DJ, but Can You Please make it possible to add a "Relay Stream URL" for syndicated Live DJ Shows From other radio server streams. It would be nice to have this feature to where you can play a URL Stream on any of the 4 decks and or add it to the auto DJ playlist and or set a time for it to play and automatically stop and fade the next song back in... Please Please make this possible!

If you have the free version it does not allow to use an aux line in, but you can use a mic line to do that, a freeware app like foobar2000 can play your url for you, wich you can connect via virtual audio cable (vb-adio) wich is also freeware, foobar has even an ability to schedule different urls or playlists.
I'm using virtual dj as a sort of pimped jukebox, wich allows me to play the radio from about 12 min's past the top of the hour until 52 min's past when it switches to my pop playlist where it picks random tracks from to play until the next 12th min past the hour and so on. I've done it all combined with the event scheduler and scripting, so there are ways.
with this setup i don't have the anoying advertisements that are every hour on the dutch radio, luckily this station only puts up advertisements around the top of the hour...

this works like a charm, add it to a button, the scheduler or where you like and change the url to the radio stream of your choice: automix_add_next "https://icecast.omroep.nl/radio5-sb-mp3"
I discovered this last week, so i stepped over to this solution for radio streams, since it is better to keep it al inside one program and i didn't knew it was so simple and possible
i also found a workaround with different settings for the scheduler for each day of the week, but it isn't flawles cause it needs te program to restart and it takes about 15 seconds of silence every day at 00:00 , it makes use of the windows task scheduler and some python scripts....It still remains quite easy to change the diffent schedules for each day and keep it running, so when someone is interested i can type the whole thing out, but i think i will do that then in a different topic...

when you have succesfully added your stream you can remove all of the other songs in the list and then click on the top right and save your stream url as vdj playlist, so you can add tags to it and keep it on your system. Adding steams by m3u playlists doesn't work, but this does.....

Beware that since vdj doesn't know the length and assume it's a normal song, memory usage will continue to increase as long as the stream is loading.
Probably not an issue for a few hours on modern computers, but could become an issue when leaving it longer

That's a good point to consider. In my setup, the radio is streamed about 40mins per hour, and the rest is done with a playlist of songs, to avoid advertisement block. I guess that would not be to much of a problem then?

That should be fine, as long as you use the same deck / unload the stream in between then
