I have 2 computers and 3 hard drives. I want one hard drive to be like a server. If I add songs to it will both computers see it or would I have to recurse the computers everytime. If this makes sense.

Many ways.. the simples way (guessing you dont use 2 computer same time) would be to use external drive.
This drive will then contain its own database for music on that drive.
and can be connected on-the-fly to any computer in the world with VDJ, and instantly have the music and database (with all info) instantly available
