话题: newbie controller comparison (ddj-400 vs ddj-sb3)?

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

all the videos I looked at seemed to only focus on software (serato vs rekordbox, which i am not interested in)
I want to know which of these works better with virtual dj?
or which is usually prefered in the community?
I only picked these two because they are in about the same price bracket, and these seem to be the top 2 for budget dj's. also i haven't used a controller yet, but am doing some shopping. I don't see myself playing in clubs anytime soon (if this is something that needs to be considered)
all i figure is that these controllers are about the same (disregarding the software arguments ive seen online lol)
also, does the sb3 have some compatiblity issues with VirtualDJ, or is that not the case? if the sb3 wasn't fully compatible, i would probably lean more towards getting the ddj-400

what do you all think i should consider buying?
(and yes, a controller under $300 is all I am willing to consider)

No compatibility issues with either, truth be told there's not much difference between those units.
You might find pages that report problems with both [more the SB as it's a little older] but that's just what happens with new users not knowing the depth of this SW.
the 400 is the slightly better thought out unit, but there isn't much in it.
here's all the info you really need to make an informed decision.
