Hi
With my Prime 4, my question is in regards to the Talkover function:
How does VDJ treat this function?
It works, but are the settings based on the configuration natively on the P4 ? or are there adjustments that can be made in VDJ ? or both ?
Thanks

I'm kinda wondering the same thing, but with my DDJ-1000 (which is not too different since the Prime's standalone functionality doesn't play a role here).
Since the deck effects are software and the mic effects hardware, and because there is a DNC mapping entry to communicate to the controller which zeroDB the mic is set to, it appears to me that the talkover is processed by the hardware and not VDJ.

Its hardware only mic., so everything is controlled and operated in hardware

Unique for the Prime 4 is that it also sends midi signals, so you can script/map something to happen on use.
But not really recommended since hardware will still operate on its own, and have no impact in that regards
