I want to use my shift to activate my stem pads can someone help write the script

Your shift where? Controller? Keyboard?

Stem pads where? Controller? Screen?

For the keyboard to shift for the on screen pads, it's just shift.
 
I have an ns6ii and i want when i hit the shift the pads change to the stem effects like when you hit the cue button

pad_page "stems" as the action for the shift button ?
 
write it just like that
