话题: Question regarding default mapping (Roland DJ 707m)

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hello...
New to the forum...
Apologies if this is a dumb question, as its been years since I've used VDJ, and I've not customised a mapping since I used VDJ with the Vestex VCI 100 mk1 (many moons ago)

Basically I've been looking at the manual for the mapping of the ROLAND DJ 707m
and searching through the forum, google and youtube etc.
and my question is,
can i edit the default mapping?
I'd specifically like to add a way of previewing the track via the hardware, is this possible?
I'd like to be able to remap the EDIT/PUSH/LOAD knob to more like the way the browse knob works on a Traktor controller
(clicking makes track play in preview and then you can scrub though track on the fly),
and maybe sacrifice the PC B button for loading the track onto the deck.
i know VDJ has a track preview option within the software, just wondering if mapping can be edited to add the feature to the hardware?
(hope I'm Making sense)

Thank you
Mark From Ireland

Yes you can edit any mapping in VDJ. As for previewing the track, that's called cueing and is already built in as standard on DJ equipment.

That won't cut it, those buttons are hardware functions and send no midi
...but this might do it, shift_load to call prelisten on/off , when prelistening - browse encoder scrubs the track, when not - normal browser_scroll action
shift_load prelisten
browse prelisten ? prelisten_pos : browser_scroll
