This is one of the new features but I don't see it working as I scan...
-Allow up to 16 simultaneous scans when no songs playing
Still does only 3 threads at a time .. I am running macOS 10.13.6 w/16GB ram
I also tried enabling experimentalBeatAnalyzer .. whatever that does.?>? It has no tooltip.

The scan count is dependant on your physical core count.
