Does anyone know how to get this back or is there another way to create this via the new vdj video skin option? Maybe an XML setting edit? Want to be able to display the Artist, Title and cover art if possible.

You can have a look at the new Video Skins that can replace it to see if there's any that you like:https://www.virtualdj.com/plugins/index.html?filter=256
If you can't find any that you like, you can download the Title plugin as an plugin as well:

I'm also missing this a lot - I used it all of the time, and the new "video skin" is shet. It looks really cheesy.

What build are you using, because there is a title plugin? Activate early access.

Yes, the Title videoskin requires a license.
