Hi guys,
I've been using Virtual DJ since i started listening to music really, on every computer or laptop i have ever owned. I created an account in 2016 and am in love with the program. For me, it's the best out there. I'm 16 and living in the UK, and i was wondering it the company needed anyone to test the updates, or to even aid the development of the VDJ. I will have a GCSE in COmputer Science at the end of exam season this year, so i know a bit about coding too. I am really passionate about the program and even use it as my default music player daily.
If anyone knows anything about opportunities for working for this amazing company, please let me know.
Many Thanks

Knowing code languages is a plus but atomix want dj's that can code, not coders that dj, write some addons, make some skins, do what you're good at and publish them for the community, then you'll get their attention.
I can code at a pretty basic level but am pretty sharp with vdj script and that's earnt me a couple of grand with commissioned jobs.

If you activate early access in the settings, you do test the updates. Although these are stable and pre tested, there can still be an issue or 2. Start seeing if you can find a bug, make it crash. Like Loco said, make some addons, try your hands at a VST, some skins, mapping scripts, plenty of things to do. When the passion is strong it's something you do anyway. It's through the doing, the creation in your experimenting, that opens doors.
In most cases you'll have to be making waves of your own before companies take notice.
Try being the first person that reports every issue, for a long duration, you'll soon become top of their testers list. Which in itself might not yield any fruit but it's what you learn on the way.
