Hello, Sort of new to VDJ. But have played around with it a few times. Now that all my hardware is figured out I've decided to only use VDJ from now on.
We host private parties in the same venue every time. I'm not a real DJ nor do I really need to be. I just play a set list of videos and maybe take a request or two. No Beat matching or talent required other than picking good songs to begin with.
Most of my videos have long intros and some have long exits. Like showing a band unloading the trucks, playing their song and packing up after they are done. Our guest don't need to see anything but the song. Skipping the beginning and the end is best.
I will play everything on Automix.
I figured out how to set a load cue point, that was very easy.
What I can't figure out is how to end a video at the point I want. I see set a Load cue point, but not a END cue point. Seems simple enough to me, why isn't END on the list?
Our first fall party is this Sat. Please help.
Thanks
Chris

When you are in auto mix in the deck 1or2 right click on that little white bar that is showing the song will fade out. You can move it around and cue the song on headphones to set the auto mix point you want.

In the automix tab, at bottom right corner , there is a little dot , click it , that pulls up a drop down that will give you options for Automix select automix type, you can manipulate how you want the next track to come into the mix, for example, fade next track with skip silence is an option, and also you can set the time you want the other track to fade in , which will end you current track at that certain point !
