I'm trying to figure out how to do a few scripts. First, when I apply the 'sampler_loop "current"' command to a sample it will loop it like it is supposed to but is there a way to unloop it and change it from a loop to a drop sample to just play out? Next, is there a way to recall the last sampler bank prior to the current one if you switch. Last question is what scripting would I use for ONINIT to active a certain video_fx when certain songs are playing. Say if I'm playing a top 40 song, have VDJ look at the genre and if it is "TOP 40" active the fx.

There used to be, in VDJ - but this feature was removed in VDJ 8 for some reason.
I have asked before on here for them to bring back a simple loop/drop toggle for each sample slot, but it's not happened.
It's ridiculous that you now have to switch the sampler view to list (so you get to the edit button), click edit, select loop or drop, then have to save the changes.
In VDJ 7 there was a simple button above each sample slot that worked instantly.

Thank you for the response groovindj. That's unfortunate that there already isn't a command for that. Hopefully one will be created soon.
