Hi Everybody,
I recently bought a Dennon MC3000 from ebay, everything mapped fine straight out of the box other than,
Master out, headphone level and headphone pan. Im using Virtual PRO. ive already tried to it with VD 8 and the same happens
everything other that the same 3 mapped straight away.
Any help would be great.
Sean

Those are Hardware knobs, meaning that they should affect audio on Master and Headphones Output but not controlling the internal (software) related knobs.
So you may not be able to see those knobs moving on the screen, but they should work as expected if speakers and Headphones are connected to the unit.

Some controls may not be MIDI controls, but actual real hardware controls - such as an analogue volume knob that's connected to the hardware inside the unit rather than sending a signal to VDJ and controlling the "virtual" mixer. If there's a MIDI chart in the MC3000 manual, you should be able to see if that's the case.

it seems odd that they cant be mapped together like every other function?!

Dont bother with the software ones. Leave those at their default values (100% Master, 100% Headphones and 0% for the Cue mix.) and just adjust the levels using the Hardware knobs.

What you need to consider is that the GUI knobs and buttons on the screen are primarily there for those who don't have a controller.
When you're using a controller, you have physical knobs and buttons right there in front of you. They don't need to be duplicated on screen.
Really the only stuff you need to see on screen is what the controller can't show you. Track and artist info, waveforms, cue point names & locations, names of effects and so on. Anything that's on your controller as hardware isn't required on the GUI.
