can anyone assist i did the latest update 8.2 and when i used my controller nothing wanted to work, i then deleted the complete file and reinstalled virtual dj 8 and still nothing worked, once again i uninstalled vdj8 and reinstalled virtual dj 8.1.2582 then everything work on the controller again.
controller is an Numark NV

8.2 was a large update, and there were some issues including non pro users not being able to use controllers at all. Maybe you just weren't signed into VDJ yet.

Install the latest available 8.2 Build again (currently 3440).
Dont connect the NV.
Goto Settings-->OPTIONS tab, search for the setting EarlyAccessUpdates and set it to Yes.
Close VirtualDJ and re-open.
Wait for a while and when you see a new Update window poping up, Click Yes.
Once VirtualDJ opens again, check the Build number.
If its 3456 then you are good to connect the NV
