Topic: Post Fader FX with compatible mixers?

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

SO i was extremely happy to read that the latest build has post fader effects option.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for me.

I am running a Rane TTM57Mk2 mixer which has the sound channels to route the effects back to the mixer post fader but i still can't get it to work.

In my soundcard screen i have the option to route the sampler back through these channels but not the effects.

So basically i'm not getting anything post fader.

Can anyone help here?

Heres what Phantom told me,

"Post Fader effects will be possible in the future for External Mixer setups only for mixers that support Effect Send/Return through their USB interface. AFAIK DJM-850 and DJM-900 don't."

I dont have your mixer so I can't try but maybe someone from the team will chime in.

Dnx1600 doesn't do it either. Any chance it will in the future?

Yeah I got that Huey :)

Probably should have written, does anyone know if the X1600 supports send/return via USB?

AFAIK most mixers don't have this, but it should be obvious from the number of available ASIO channels.
For send/return, each deck requires 2 stereo output channels and 1 stereo input channel.
If the number of outputs matches the number of channels then your mixer doesn't support this.

Yeah okay, TTM57mk2 definately supports effects return over USB. I can even choose the effects return channel in the soundcard menu, just can't choose effects as its source. Here is the channel layout for my mixer if it helps

Thanks anyway though.

Rane 62, 64, TTM57MKII and Pioneer DJM-S9 are the ones that we know for sure that they offer FX Send/Return Channels. We' ll check others too when this is implemented.

I will look forward to that :-)
