I don't know what happened but when I let the computer update to this build the needle search no longer works on my pioneer sz.

Actually needle search works without the need to modify anything.
1) IF the deck is not on air (both volume faders and crossfader position is taken into account) the needle search works as expected.
2) IF the deck is on air then you need to press SHIFT and touch the needle.
This is an extra security because working with effects (right above the needle search) could result users to touch it by accident and ruin their mix.
