Using version 2587.1116
Windows 10 64 bit
I have an mp4 which i recorded with virtual DJ on high quality and is 4 hours. I loaded that mp4 on a any deck and i put cue points on various points on that deck. Cue points work fine but they all show up like they are in the beginning of the mp4 or totally somwhere else and not where they were originally marked... Don't know how to explain it better...just load a big mp4 and try to put cue points like you would do with a normal mp4

If the file is 4 hours long than it likely exceeds the default maxPreloadLength of 50 (minutes). You can change this setting to -1 to fully load the track into memory providing that your computer has the resources available to do so.

You don't need to change the preloadlength, even if the file is not completely loaded in memory cue points everywhere in the file should work fine.
Where exactly do you see that they are in the beginning of the track?

Adion I've tried different settings regarding the maxpreload length...i get it on certain mixes. I will post a screenshot now showing what i mean. I will also investigate a little bit more as i see that its not doing it on one mix that has been analayzed

Yes, you must ANALYZE the file first before cue-points are shown on correct location.

Not sure why that would be required though.
On VBR MP3 you may have had an issue with the length, so the position on the song position waveform may be off, but the actual position when you trigger the cue points should still be correct and the same as where you set them.

So in the picture you see that the mp4 is fully analyzed. You can see that cue2 and cue3 are ok since they even have the white line. cue4 and cue1 are somewhere totally different than what they appear on the preview (and notice they dont have the white line). It can happen with all cues. I've also tried different recording mp4s and same thing happens. I put a cue even if its analayzed or not and the cue is showing up somewhere totally different. AND when i want the song to jump on a cue that i have already put it wont take me there. It will take me somewhere totally different
