In VDJ7, I was/am able to click on a song in the browser, tap my letter 'z' on the keyboard (mapped as 'playlist_add') and the song goes to my playlist/automix window. In VDJ8, the keyboard appears to have incorporated MS windows system functionality where pressing a letter takes you to the list item starting with that letter, so for me it goes to the bottom of my song list and highlights the first song starting with 'z'. Workaround: If I click on a song and then just a black space on the top of the browser or on a blank part of a deck, which brings focus away from the browser(?) hitting 'z' then adds the previously highlighted song to the playlist. Can anyone thing of a way to do this via scripting? Maybe bring the focus to a different window somehow then perform the playlist_add.
