If I go into the Tag Editor and rate a song (for example three stars) and then click the ok key the rating transfers to the file location. If, however, I follow the same procedure and click on the next key the rating information does not transfer to the file location. Is this a bug or is this intended?

If I understand you correctly, that's perfectly normal.
Any changes you make won't get saved unless you OK them (by clicking OK). If you just click 'next' then the changes won't save - it's what most people would expect.

Ok. You are right that is what most people would expect. I was using VDJ8 to listen then rate instead of going into my source file, it is a lot easier. I will just click on ok and then go into the next file instead of clicking next.
