I'm having a problem recording video. The recording comes out choppy at times. I'm using a I7 laptop with 16 gigs of ram, Intel 5500 graphics and VDJ Version 8. The record settings are 720X480 at high quality (medium quality was unacceptable). The individual files are stored on an external USB3.0 SSD drive, and recording to the internal SSD.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to record in 720p, but I guess I'll have to take it step-by step. I could go back to VDJ V7, but I'm not sure what kinds of video settings would be the best for me.
Can anyone help? Any suggestions?
