After upgrading to the latest build last week, I noted VDJ keeps flashing twice or thrice every few minutes on my primary monitor after playing a couple of songs. It also changes colour after loading the first song. Here is how it looks after launching VDJ8

This also applies to the default VDJ skin.
Some track songs are elligble.

Do you have the latest version of direct x? I had this issue, and updated the direct x and all was well. Also, it reappeared during a milkdrop activation, but it may be one of the scenes that is causing the issue. I never got around to checking which file it was, because I rarely use milkdrop.

I have upgraded direct x and disabled milkdrop. The issue seems to have now gone. THanks!

I was having the same issue after installing milkdrop. Deleted it and have had no further issue.
