Songs in ITunes playlists don't appear in the same order I made them in ITunes on VDJ 8. Instead they show up in alphabetical or sometimes just random order. I'm not sure how to fix it.

right click column headers and select reset sort order at the top of the list
not sure if this made it in the manual but you should give it a good read all the same

sorting the itunes playlists are unfortunately only accepted on reset the sort order.
By changing the itunes playlists, the original sorting is not accepted.
VDJ7 has done this. Can the tedious manual reset the sort order transition.
would be ideal if by default the original sorting is adopted
browserSort = itunes=Original Sort Order|file=Original Sort Order|side=Original Sort Order|file(samp)=Original Sort Order|file(hist)=Play Time|file(sbnk)=Original Sort Order
