I recently bought a Lenovo utouch, which, as it says, is a touch screen laptop. installed virtual 8 on it and i figured "multi touch" meant that i could touch both sliders at once to better transition songs, but thats not the case. if i touch two sliders at once, the one i touched "first" is the one i control, not both.
am i a dumbass?
i downloaded the edify dj app just to see, multi touch works there. so is there an option im not seeing? i turned multitouch 2 finger scroll on

I believe you need a skin that is made for touch screen.

ive got multiple skins that are labeled as touch screen, i havent messed with any of the settings in them so maybe thats the issue

nothing to do with the skin. VirtualDJ 8 supports multi-touch screens (so did 7.4.1) , but does your laptop support this or is it a single-point one ?
