Topic: funky bass bins??

Has anyone ever heard of "funky" bass bins, meaning the make or model?????

Ive just got a pair of 500w bins, and all I know about the untill theyre delivered is that the apparently have "funky" written on the back. Have tried asking the seller but hes not At home so cant send me anymore info.

I won the 2 bins, and a 900w amp for £38 so Theyll do untill I can save for some better quality gear as usual. Just wondwring what theyre like, not that it matters for £38 lol

They're not bass bins. They've got horns at the top.

He mentions in the description that one's had a new horn fitted, and you can also see they're full range in the pic.

The amp's dead too, so good luck with that. :-)

Looks like they come from here, which says they're "amongst the finest speakers in their market".
 
Yeah I have a pal who will repair the amp, hmm didnt realise about the horn thing, was kinda distracted by my children at the time. But hay ho. Suppose they will have to be used as spares or backups if theyre full range. :/ . Thanks for the link, will check it out now.
 
Hmm, suppose they still not too bad for £38 considering theyre 199 new. Not quite what I actually wanted "wanted bass bins" but not to worry.
 
Yeah, you could rent them out with the amp as an "iPod disco" for say £50 a time.
