Hey,
i bought the Numark Mix Track and got the virtual dj software with it.
Now i am trying to get effects from virtualdj.com and from reading around these forums, the picture that i am getting is that you have to buy the software directly from virtualdj.com... Is this really so?

Effects, Skins, Samples and other addons (plugins) are available to registered licensed users.
If your controller came with VirtualDJ LE version, please register the serial number of the software to your Account http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html to be able to download them.
However, you will be able to use those additional plugins only during the 20days of Pro Full Trial period. After those 20 days, those additional plugins will not be available to use with the LE version.
Upgrade to Pro Full is offered at a discount ( http://www.virtualdj.com/products/oem.html ) in case you need to fully use them and of course have all the features that Pro Full version offers.. http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
