I just got the Numark iDJ3. I found out some things that you guys should know with the iDJ3 and Virtual DJ
For users who had "Unfortunately the installation failed (Error: Timeout - 0x0006)" when installing iDJ3 Driver version 2.9.11 x86/x64. I don't think it works correctly. I'm gonna call Numark for this issue. I think it only works for Mixvibes, not Virtual DJ but I'm not sure.
XP Users, install one of these hotfixes (or both if you want, which I did that), XP SP3 users should have KB888111 integrated:
KB835221 UAA Initial - [link removed]
KB888111 UAA Rev 1.0a for XP SP2 or below - [link removed]
It should recognize iDJ3 as USB Composite Device > USB Audio Device.
Vista and 7 should have the drivers for it.
For better functionality of the iDJ3 without the microphone, use Virtual DJ LE (7.0.3) for iDJ3. Download: http://www.numark.com/virtualdjleupdate
I assume that if you want to install iDJ3 Driver version 2.9.11 x86/x64 successfully, I think you have to update the iDJ3 firmware to v1.03 and use Midi Ox to upload firmware, then hold Cue A, Cue B.
