Hi guys I'm having the same problem with my wego, sometimes the controller doesn't response and other times it's time stretched. I'm currently using vdj pro 7.3.
Any help would be appreciated before I end up smashing this thing lol
 
Sorry guys didn't mean to disrespect.but even better..the reason why I didn't use the virtual dj is because it doesn't let me use the code on the back of the wego device. The message is that the number is already in use. Which could be, cause I bought it second hand on Internet . Is there any way that I can deactivate the previous guys account?

No there is not. This is why one should never by "used" from the internet especially if it comes with licensed software.

Do you have 7.2 you could try it on? I use it with my Dell laptop from 2006 Win XP with no issues however I am using VDJ 7.2.
 
should i remove virtual dj before i install the LE version when using ddj wego ? as my wego is crashing all the time
 
i have the wego,it keeps on crashing on me, mostly when using samples.. i have turned all usb hubs off from sleeping, changed to high performance, i dont have the pro yet, wonering if its worth getting? an its still crashing on me, what should i do. !

I would not. I'm using Vdj pro 7.2 on a win xp laptop.

Did you update the firmware from the Pioneer site so you know you have the updated firmware on the unit? If not I would do that first then try again.

Not sure if it will help but if you have a small powered usb hub I would try connecting the unit to the powered hub then the hub into your computer. I know the manual states it will not function however it works just fine for me and it solved the audio popping I was having when playing videos.

Btw: I know samples don't crash it because in use samples (MP3) as well.

 
i downloaded the firmware as i lost my wego disco, but i didnt update the wego by holding down the 2 headphone cue buttons, ( should i update the wego doing this ? ) also i have not installed the LE version of virtual dj... all i did is download a wego skin for virtual dj pro but the skin is not showing... should i insatll LE over virtual pro ?

thanks in advance if anyone knows how to fix the crashing
 
Follow the firmware instructions exactly!

I wanted to use the wego skin at first but in the end I don't care. The LE version will NOT allow you to remap buttons. With me I remapped a lot of buttons to perform tasks that I always use.
 
I played it for a good hour today with out crashing. how do I download off the pioneer website, am not using a mac, I tried an it gave me a zip folder an when I opened it, it didn't do anything... ?
 
unzip the file. you need to extract the files.
 
when you download the firmware i think you need to hold down both headphone buttons while you switch the wego on, then the wego will flash to indicate that the firmware has updated on the unit
 
That moment when you buy a 300 dollar plug and play out of the box controller from Pioneer and it simply does not work...the way it should.

After updating the Firmware, driver and installing the LE version of Virtual DJ because the PRO version is stuttering, and UNINSTALLING THE LE version because its stuttering I don't know what to do?

The controller appears to play the music just fine and the jog wheels respond fluidly like water...but the second I move the crossfader or the volume faders, everything starts to stutter. The program starts "glitching" and the audio start stuttering...like a gater type effect

I have 2 Numark V7s and a Numark N4 that work flawlessly with virtual dj, why isn't this "basic" controller functioning?

4Gigs of Ram
Windows 7 64 and 32 bit

Anyone else going thru this?
 
Very strange. I had 1 issues which I've mentioned in several posts and the "fix" that worked for me..outside of that I don't know what to tell you. Sorry you're having such a difficult time with the unit.
 
Its cool, I appreciate your concern. Unfortunately, after 43 painkillers, I accepted reality and acknowledged that my controller does not function correctly with my Windows 7 64 bit laptop. FORTUNATELY....I just happen to have an old Mac Book Pro lying around with only 2 gigs of ram. Everything works smoothly and properly on that....Why on Earth will it not work on my 4GIG PC laptop is beyond me. In my experience of dealing with these so called "plug and play" controllers......None of them are "plug and play" controllers. There is no such thing...although I'm sure the experience of others is different. The We-Go Is relatively """""new""""" so I wouldn't be surprised if Pioneer released a fix or update on this soon..or so I hope. But thanks.
 
Have you contacted support so they can remote in to your machine and diagnose?

It sounds PC specific rather than the controller.

Have you looked around the Pioneer forum to see if others have this issue?

i dj'ed again sunday night and the wego was crashing all over the place. i am at my wits end with this now
 
Yeah. I'm certain it's something more along the lines of the PC compatibility or settings. Once I saw how fast the response was on the Mac, my eyes dilated. It confirmed that the controller wasn't damaged as I had suspected.

On the Pioneer forums a few people seemed to be having the same issue, but even when Pioneer started replying and asking for specs from other people, there would never be a definite resolve. They literally just stop replying or fail to offer a solution like on a few threads here as well. Which leaves me with that image/impression of "since we can't solve it, lets just ignore the customer. They'll go away eventually. So what if they just purchased are $300 (and up) software/hardware...forget em"- but I digress and push that aside. I realize that's the world is an imperfect place, and sometimes, we just don't know the answer, but when your spending hard earned cash on these kinds of things, one expects them to work.

I'll have to transfer my PC music to my Mac, as the WE-GO only works on it, but what get me all "uneasy" is that I just happen to also have a MacBook. What if I didn't? Then what? Lucky me that's not the case but on well- like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if Pioneer release some kind of fix soon. I hope:/

(Virtual DJ is the sh**) been with me for about 5 years now. I definitely don't regret making it my preferred DJ application) can't wait for the VDJ 8 release :)
 
i ran the virtual dj regisrty tool to fix the stuttering video and that workied fine but it did not fix the crashing, i am going to try increasing the video memory in bios and install an older graphics driver to see if this stops the virtual dj from crashing with my wego
